Today marks the first year anniversary of the opening of LOVE, the Cirque du Soleil's tribute to the Beatles. Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon, Olivia Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté gathered in Las Vegas, Nevada today to unveil two plaques honoring John Lennon and George Harrison that will be displayed in the LOVE Theater lobby at The Mirage. The event also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the release of the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album.
