It has been widely reported that Sir Paul will open Saturday's Live 8 concert with Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and close it 8 hours later with his performance of The Long And Winding Road. It seems there will be another tune on the playlist that we do not know about. According to Sir Paul:
"I've been asked to do a surprise number that is relevant to the walk to Edinburgh."
Sir Bob Geldof is encouraging people to march on Edinburgh, Scotland next week for the G8 Summit.
