Sir Paul has purchased an luxurious eight-bedroom mansion on the Van Valkenburg estate in Pasadena, California to serve has his American home. The home will be familiar to viewers of the 1960s Batman television series. It was featured in the program as the home of Batman's alter ego, Bruce Wayne. It is reported that Sir Paul paid $7.6 million (GBP4 million) for the home.
