Sir Paul has made himself available to entertain at private functions. For a minimum of GBP 1 million, one can contact Grabow Associates, a top American talent agency, to hire Sir Paul to give a two hour performance. The Daily Mail quotes an company insider as saying:
"I'm afraid Paul McCartney is one of our hardest clients to pin down and book. He won't return any calls about offers he considers derisory. Even for offers he might consider taking up - those in excess of the GBP 1million mark - he takes a couple of days to get back to us. There is also no guarantee that even a massive payment will ensure that Paul says Yes to an event. In September, he turned down a GBP 1million request to sing at a private function and fairly recently he declined a GBP 2million bid. He has no real need to do any of these functions so we have to really sell the gig to him, and tell him that he'll be performing before a group of truly dedicated fans - then there's a real chance he'll do it. So to say that Sir Paul won't get out of bed for less than a million pounds is a very good way of putting it."
