Stella and Alasdhair Willis have announced the name of their son - Miller Alasdhair James Willis. The name James has become a part of the McCartney tradition. Sir Paul's father's name was Jim, Sir Paul himself was christened James Paul, and Stella's brother is James Louis. The Mirror quotes one of Stella's friends as saying that the baby was named after both his father and his grandfather:
"They are the two great loves of her life. She wanted them to feel that now they're a big part of her son's life. If she'd had a daughter she would have used her mother's name. It's a very touching tribute and both Alisdhair and Paul are over the moon.
Stella and her son are said to be "thriving".
