Today's Daily Variety contains an article about Stella McCartney's work as the costume designer for the Gwyneth Paltrow / Jude Law retro science-fiction film Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Stella talked about the designs she created for the film:
"The fact that there weren't many costume changes I thought was a good thing in a way, as it made me create layers. I tried to bring as much versatility into the garments (as I could). I don't think you notice the costumes too much, which is fitting for the film. They work hand and hand with finished product and don't stick out like a sore thumb."
