(Updated April 20) Sir Paul and Heather Mills were in Long Beach, California to attend the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The couple were the guests of Champ Car team co-owner Paul Newman. The crowd went wild when they spotted Sir Paul strolling down the pit lane, stopping to chat and shake hands with race fans along the way. Spontaneous applause erupted when Sir Paul stopped to watch a pit stop. Unfortunately, Sir Paul wasn't given the opportunity to ride in the pace car. The honor of sitting in the Champ Car passenger seat was given to Tom Cruise.
