The British press reports today that Sir Paul is about to become a children's author. In 2005, Faber will publish Sir Paul's High In The Clouds, an urban fairytale about two squirrels and a frog whose home is destroyed by developers. The tale will be a continuation of the story presented in Sir Paul's annimated film, Tropic Island Hum. Aimed at children aged five and up, the story will contain a strong ecological message: "Two squirrels. One frog. One goal: to set the creatures free". According to Sir Paul's spokesman:
"The main character is a Scouse squirrel called Wirral and the book will continue on from the animation."
Sir Paul will co-write the book with Philip Ardagh and animator Geoff Dunbar.
