Sir Paul tops tomorrow's Mail on Sunday's "Rich Report 2004" with a fortune worth 725 millions pounds (that's $1.3 billion in U.S. dollars). Not only is Sir Paul the richest male British star, his fortune surpasses the combined worth of Elton John, Madonna and Mick Jagger. Recent contributions to Sir Paul's wealth have been his highly successful world tour as well as the royalties from his Beatles tunes, including the re-release of the cleansed Let it Be album.
